I am writing on behalf of the Joshua Foundation to invite you to join us for our fourth annual Joshua Foundation Benefit Concert. The concert will be held at 7.30pm on December 15 in the main sanctuary of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Orlando, located at 16796 E. Davenport Road in Winter Garden, Florida.
The Joshua Foundation is a non-profit organization that was started in 2015 to honor the life and legacy of Joshua Kim. Joshua was a college student with a passion to use music to spread the message of hope that he had found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. This passion led him around the world. In 2011, he went to Ecuador and on August 4 of that year, just hours before he was to share the story of how he found hope and forgiveness, he went home to be with the Lord.
Joshua’s parents, KJ and Miran, started the Foundation in order to share the hope that Joshua had. The Foundation’s work involves teaching valuable life skills, training indigenous leaders, and establishing churches in the Amazon region of northern Ecuador. The Joshua Foundation’s first full-time worker, Gonzalo Quimbulco, moved into the Amazon in 2014 and has been doing an amazing work to revitalize communities and to bring light into dark places. In addition to Gonzalo, the Foundation partners with churches to send short-term teams to serve the area as well. Through the Foundation, not only are individual lives and families being changed, but the region is experiencing renewal.
The work of the Foundation has gained supporters throughout the world. The Joshua Foundation Benefit Concert is one way to raise awareness and funds for the ongoing work in Ecuador. The Foundation will bring in world-renowned operatic singers from different states and countries for an unforgettable and inspirational evening. Please join us and invite others to a night of amazing music, for a worthwhile cause.
